Last year, 2017, KVO Ethiopia Chapter supported and provided the empowerment programs and workshops for teachers from 5 public schools(Bekelcha, Kenenissa, Derara, Kara-hora and Foka), Techniques of making teaching materials(lesson plans and curriculums) and installation of the teachers' library and free internet service.

KVO Ethiopia Chapter hired and invited professional instructor to teach basic hand-writing skills, basic concepts of teaching aids and techniques of making educational(=teaching) materials for teachers from 5 public schools, Thereby guiding and helping teachers in developing teaching skills and improving the quality of elementary education in public schools.

KVO Ethiopia Chapter renovated the educational environment by providing orientations regarding the use of teachers' library for teachers to use the facilitiy easier and better.

Also, KVO Ethiopia Chapter provided proper training session for teachers to make teaching materials and lesson plans in order to improve the quality and environment of the elementary education in public schools in Bishoftu area.

 

Through the trainings and workshops, We promoted and provided the actual teaching skills which can be used in educational environment and thereby improving the teaching skills of teachers from 5 public schools. We hope the teaching environment in 5 public schools to be improved and enhanced in near future.
