KVO sends provisions to "Chosun-race Dispersed Family Association", which actively participates in issues concerning the Korean-Russian community in Sakhalin. This is the biggest Korean community in Russia. KVO provided 20 tons of recycled clothing and Hanbock, the Korean traditional costume, April 25, 1995 and November 22, 1997.

On May 4. 1995 and Sept. 10. 1997 KVO provided acupuncture, moxibustion, and medicine to help Korean seniors in Russia. These seniors had suffered servitude imposed by Japanese imperialists while Korea was a Japanese colony.

On Sept. 17. 1995 KVO offered technical books and novels to "Sakhalin Senior Association" to provide Korean Russians with an opportunity to learn their long forgotten mother tongue. This also helped boost self-esteem and nationalism.
